Elizabeth Harrison, 1849 - 1927
The kindergarten as an influence in modern civilization
Let us remember that we are to train the child from the first years of his life, through his every activity, with that great truth in mind. It is to this work that you, as students of the kindergarten system; first to prepare yourselves and then to prepare the little children intrusted to you. pg 9-10

“I am not here to save the world but I am here
just to make a difference in the community that I am working with”

Hernandez Ms Ed.Executive Director

great Quote by Raymond Hernandez. I believe that when we make a difference in our community we are affecting the world, because those in our community spread the effect of that community touch.
ReplyDeleteI like quote by Raymon hernandez.I also belive that every one can leave impact in his/her community which is a part of this world. As individual of coures no one coulld chang the world but we can make a difference that last for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI also posted Raymon Hernandez's quote on my blog as well. His statment is so profound and resonates in me. So many times we as educators have heard that apart of our role is to change the world. However, if we each make an impact in our local schools and communities we will change the world one child and family at a time.
ReplyDeleteI think the Raymond Hernandez quote is a favorite quote of a few of our classmates. So why did you choose that particular quote, how does it relate to your goals and passion as far as being successful in the Early Childhood field?
